Need to save date and time stamp

How to save date and time stamps for each track point while accumulating a track data on Garmin GPSMAP 545s (I know, its a legacy device from about 2008) but it works great.
I know that the each track poin in Active Log has the date and time. But once I save that file to the SD card, it no longer shows the date and time for each track point. Is this data hidden somewhere? What is the work-around?

If you connect your 545 to a computer running Garmin Basecamp you will be able to copy Active Logs into your computer's hard drive with time / date info., anthing that had been archived on the 545 will be stripped of this data to save file space so the copy to computer must be done before any 545 archiving takes place as this permanently deletes the data

EDIT
If you have used Garmin Express to download files to you Unit there is a possibility that your Active Logs have automatically been backed up to your computer, take a look in :-

C:\Users\user1\Documents\Garmin\Backups\[Folder Number]\[Dated Folder]\GPX\

to find files with names like Current.gpx, temp.gpx etc. also \Archive\Number.gpx
