Need waypoint and goto app for android

I want a very simple android app with very little functionality and clutter.

I want to do only two things:
* Mark and save waypoints.
* Return later with goto function.

Example:
1 go in the woods and find a scenic view or landmark
2 tag the landmark and save the location
3 return to the exact same spot two weeks later with a friend

Any suggestions ... again simple is preferred and I don't need or want a bunch of other features.

I tried a several other hunter/hiker/geo-cacher apps first and they all linked to gps satellites. All were too complicated and either did not have the simple requirements I want or it took a million steps to accomplish so all uninstalled.

I installed Handy GPS and tried several times and followed help tips but could never connect to satellite.

App simplicity seemed perfect for me but it just won't connect so I uninstalled.

Any other suggestions?

As long as permissions are allowed for 'Location' when setting up Handy GPS (free), there should be no reason why your android device should not use the built-in GPS

You can have other GPS apps installed and running at the same time as Handy GPS (free), if they can 'see' satellites then Handy GPS (free) will also 'see' them, try one of these
