Brand new Garmin 2797 today (arrived this morning). I followed the small instruction sheet available for connection. I quickly noticed that the unit would stay on for about two minutes and turn itself off (even when I was still punching buttons). After several restarts, I thought perhaps the battery was too low to sustain power. SO, I plugged it to the computer and walked away for some four hours. I pulled up some Youtude videos and discovered the screen display could be turning the unit off to save some battery life.. I set the display setting to "Never" turn it off. Yet, every time I make an attempt to turn it on and use it, "IT TURNS IT SELF OFF AFTER TWO ABOUT MINUTES" .......... I have decided to plug it in and leave it till tomorrow. What am I missing here.....??? :mad: :mad: :mad:
