my old 76cx had a mini topo card installed that worked great. I bought a new 76cx in2012 .....removed card form the older 76 ... inserted it into the new one ... it also worked good, BUT I lost the device in woods,.... just purchased new topo card , installed it in the old 76 I still have , now it won't display topo at all. Was told to update old 76 via data plugin cable ...attached to PC... did that, ran into frustrating, confusing gobbledegook (to me). STUCK ! can someone help me out here? .......what do I need to do to make new card work in old 76cx ? OH and BTW the card is an 8GB TOPO 100K. Is the 100K card compatible with the USGS quadrangle paper maps?
