No GPS

Hi.
I've got an old Mio Moov M614 LM which doesn't get updates anymore so I decided to put iGO windows mce on it.
It worked fine for a while then I decided to update the maps and now the satnav can't find any GPS satellites anyone.
I've left it searching for them from a full charge till it discharged itself.
Any ideas where I have gone wrong?

It depends what you did when you 'decided to update the maps', that is when it stopped working, did you delete any files for example ?

No. I backed up the whole files before the update. On replaced the map files. Replaced the map files back to original and the unit works. Can't understand why it won't work with newer maps files that I got from this site.
