    Hi ,
I have a Noztec Sat Nav, which comes loaded with European maps. I hope to visit Florida USA later this year and want to update the Sat nav for this trip.

I have obtained the files from the website for USA, which includes Florida.

There is a file called basesmap .fbl that I have not copied anyware as yet as I am not sure about it.

There a 4 files called North America_NT_Easy_2011.Q2_111007.hnr, Eco,Fast and Short which I have copied to the HNR folder, which is part of the contents folder. I hope this is correct.

There are three Maps files for Florida which I have copied to the Maps folder. These are
    USA Florida 83_NT_2011.Q2 110721.fbl
    USA Florida 83_NT_2011.Q2 110721.fda
    USA.Florida.fbl

I just want to check that this is correct. Is there any way of testing it before I go to Florida? Thanks

    Neil.

If you can zoom in to street level in an area of Florida, I would say your unit can see the new maps. By the way, the names of the files suggest they are from the second quarter of 2011 i.e. seven years old

Hi, thanks for your reply. When I input a postcode or address the map for Florida comes up with a street view and street name and the sat nav screen shows it is receiving a gps signal, so hopefully it will work. The maps seem to be the latest, however I wonder if the USA.Florida.fbl file is an update for the USA Florida 83_NT_2011.Q2 110721.fbl file as I have copied both fbl files to the maps folder, I am not sure if this is correct?
