    I have 2 GPS. One 3580 owned ten years, and one 3590 recently purchased (used as new in the box)

    I've tranfered the GPX to the 3590, but i don't find the map symbols that I had choosed in the 3580.

    How to proceed to have the same map symbols?

    Regards.

    The map symbol icon is detailed in the GPX file as a description, in this case 'Telephone'
    Code:
      <wpt lat="51.946573918685317" lon="-1.00275163538754">
        <time>2022-09-01T13:57:30Z</time>
        <name>Dummy-getrid2</name>
        <sym>Telephone</sym>
        <type>user</type>
        <extensions>

    This description should be 'read' by your 3590, however if the 'Telephone' icon is not available on the 3590 then I guess another icon will be used instead, You could also try transferring Waypoints by copying them into Basecamp and sending them to the 3590 using Basecamp just in case the GPX file is not carrying the symbol info. for some reason
