Nuvi 3597lm question

i have a garmin nuvi 3597lm that wont update. it says its to little memory space on gps, but i have an empty 16gb memorystick thats empty in the gps. have tried to resett gps without solving the problem

If you are using Garmin Express then I suggest you use the 'Copy to Computer only' option, this will download the files to a folder on your computer, when download is finished run Garmin Basecamp, this should find the new maps on your computer and allow you to use the Map Install option in Basecamp, this has several advantages, it means you don't get a failed download (which can take several hours to repeat), it also allows much more control over the download to satnav procedure because you can see how much space is available and also specify where the map is installed to I.e., send it to internal or microSD memory

got the solution today from garmin support, i just went in and deleted all info that was on the gpx folders, then the program found the memorycard. and all is ok now
