Nuvi 57 Waypoints

I have had Nuvi 50 and 52 models and now have Nuvi 57. My new unit seems a bit erratic in regard to waypoint display (Favorites), sometimes they're there (shown on the map), sometimes no. Another problem is that all appear as green/white hearts rather than the colored flags I copied from Basecamp.

All in all, the new unit addresses some issues I had with earlier models, it now shows a scale on the display, and allows me to delete multiple waypoints at once. I'm very pleased with these improvements, but not so pleased with the apparent waypoint "downgrade". Any help would be appreciated.

If I remember correctly, the unit will only display favourites that are 'on the route', when you are navigating, other favourites won't be displayed. You can have a dedicated icon for a favourite (or group of favourites), but you have to download a picture file with the same name as the favourite
