Tom turned on his GPS it notified him that it was corrupted and it is not showing restaurants, rest areas etc. Also doesn't show the road markers......Is it junk now and we have to buy new. We aren't really versed in this type of thing. We're older folks!!!! I tried to uninstall the Garmin Express app but it won't uninstall.....system tells me it was unable to remove.

You could try a Factory reset with Settings >> All >> Restore, please note that you need to copy all Tracks, Routes, Favorites etc. stored on the unit as these will be removed by the reset

Also ensure that you have the latest operating software and map updates
