Older Delorme In Reach

    New guy here trying to figure out the Gps thing.

    So everyone is on a budget and the new Garmin In Reach mini 2 seems very expensive.

    As an alternative I've found plenty of the older Delorme, pre Garmin days, for the take on eBay. The prices are right for sure. They pretty much do everything that the Mini 1 and Mini 2 does but without the big price tag.

    My question is is this a bad choice?
