Hi all.. new to the forum.
I'm turning here, as even Garmin tech's can't solve my problem. So, short of sending my unit back at this time, I would like to ask the forum.
Garmin 450, that I got years ago, and used in only a limited way... fast forward a couple of house moves, I have been using it again.
1) will not save any tracks "track archive error" -
2) will not indicate it updates beyond v3.7
I'm a mac guy, so I borrow a PC laptop, and Garmin techs linked to the laptop - they reformatted the built in memory, flashed the processor, and loaded fresh firmware & software back on... same issues. That was a year ago....
I have a 2G SD in the unit... same issue with it in or out.
Track preferences are to record and display... Anyone with ideas?
All else seems operational, just unable to save any tracks to the unit... I checked all setups and is normal... I been looking for someone with an Oregon 450 and just mirror the software to see if that fixes anything.
Ideas... thoughts?
