    Hi all,

I used to have a Dakota 20. It suited me fine for what I did (hiking) and I
never had any problems with it.

But I lost it and so I upgraded to an Oregon 650, which has since caused me some problems. I guess it's because it is far more complicated. There's one problem in particular I am having, and this is about the auto pause/auto start. I noticed that if I set it the auto pause and auto start to off (or one of them to off), the distance I cover is widly
incorrect. So I have them both on 'off.'

However, I find 2 problems with this: 1. I sometimes forget to hit the 'play' button when I start walking again (I know - my fault); 2. If I am going rather slowly, it constantly stops recording the data (time and distance), which is annoying. Is there a way to set the piece so that it stops recording when I actually stop moving completely, rather than just go slowly.

    Thanks all!
