Oregon 750T - Lockscreen

I use my 750t for geocaching. When I first got it, and before I started to change settings, I used to be able to swipe from the geocache page to my Compass, with the screen locked. A very convenient feature which I cannot now do.

If anyone can spell out what I need to do to get back to where I was, I would really appreciate it.

I am not familiar with this model, but here are some possible suggestions from the user manual :-

Customizing Dashboards
1 Select a page.
2 Select an option:
• From the map, select > Setup Map > Dashboard.
• From the compass or trip computer, select > Change
Dashboard.
3 Select a dashboard.

Setting the Home Screen to Classic Mode You can set the home screen to look like a classic Garmin handheld device home screen. This can be useful if you are familiar with the user interface from a previous product model. From the app drawer, select Setup > System > Classic.

Thanks very much for your suggestions, but I have tried that with no success. I have tried resetting everything as well, with no luck either.
