First post here so sorry if I am not up on the exact vocabulary.
My wife has in her car two of the earlier Garmin models (Nuvi 255 and Nuvi 1300).
Recently using either plugged into her AC battery socket she has gotten a battery low announcement since my tests indicate that her adapter has a slightly loose fit and the connection doesn't stay continuous.
I had another adapter which fits better but still when jostled a little loses the connection.
Is this a common problem and is there an easy fix or work-around so that the adapter/charger will remain connected in the socket?
