Problems with Map Version 2015.40

This weekend I downloaded the latest maps Version 2015.40 with Garmin Express on my Nuvi 265WT and a Nuvi 1350LMT and had the following problems:

1.) I can't see most of the main roads and NO side streets, just major US highways and Interstates. I believe the map version was 2015.40. I have reset Map Detail to "more" and still no side streets. When I try to bring up Points of Interest on these units they both give the error message "No Map Data Available" or just "No Data Available"

2.) When I pull up Favorites on the 1350, there are hundreds of categories labeled "2015-03-14T23:12:36Z" or a similar number, then the comes the categories i used. My favorites are still there under all favorites. To get rid of them, I have to open the category and edit each of the Favorite's categories to delete this number. This happens on the 1390 from time to time and may not be related to the map problem.

I also updated my Nuvi 2595LMT and that seems to be OK.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems?

Problem resolved. I used Garmin Express and reloaded the map files again and everything is working great. so good lesson there. if you ever have problems after loading map files, reload them before you panic. I think the first files loaded were corrupt due to the GPS losing connection with the computer due to a loose fitting cable.

I finally put the sledge hammer to the Garmin. Life is going to be much better with map and compass again. I will never have to buy or put up with their crap again!
