I was copying files from the internal memory to a microSD card using my computer, and when I tried to click eject in file explorer the computer said there were files in use. There was a process I could see in Task Manager called Smart GPS Eco, but I wasn't sure if I should end that process or not, so I simply restarted the computer and then disconnected the Magellan Roadmate 3030-LM and now the device is stuck in an infinite boot. If I connect it to the computer the device goes into USB Transfer mode, but when I safely disconnect it the device goes back to an infinite loop so I think I need the Magellan Recovery Tool for this device to reinstall the operating system and get it functioning again. Does anyone know where I can get it? I've tried to access Magellan's Support page on their website but the browser says the connection as been reset.

I've never used a Magellan device, but restarting the computer ends all processes during the restart operation.
Quite possibly the file was still being used when the computer shut down, and the shutdown left whatever it was doing incomplete.
Perhaps a Magellan dealer you can speak with about it?

Thanks for trying to assist. I was able to find someone selling this model of the Magellan on eBay, so I bought it, ran some Python code to check which files in that Magellan were different from my Magellan and then ran another Python program to modify certain files to make them the same as the Magellan from eBay, and now my Magellan is working again. Fortunately the seller is willing to pay for the return shipping so I will be returning the one from eBay. If anyone is in a similar position as I was, here is a link to my Google Drive containing the folders and files from my now working Magellan Roadmate 3030-LM: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1bYNYe4L8wIXuGeti6HHeCxY6ETufnKPH?usp=sharing
Note that I did not include the MAP folder, but if you need maps here is a link for that as well:
Also not that all the folders on my Google Drive need to be present on your device, including the empty ones.
I don't know if downloading these files onto your Magellan will work if you have already formatted it, and you might need the recovery tool downloaded onto a MicroSD card if your Magellan does not go into USB mode when it's plugged into your computer.
