my zumo 550 has failed to turn on today as i was just about to update my lifetime maps. tried the battery out, holding + down with the power on button and also plugging it into the car holder (both with and without the batt) all to no avail. looks like after four years it has had enough. not really good enough for something that cost nearly £500 and has been looked after but technology appears to be a disposable commodity so i'll have to live with it.

my question is; if i get a zumo 660 will i be able to transfer the lifetime maps and my current speed camera alerts that i only updated two months ago or do i have to start again from scratch?

if anyone has some new ideas how to get my 550 up and running i'm all ears.

    thanks
