Roadmate 1440

Hi
I am New to Magellans GPS, I also have Older Tom Tom one,130. I just got this 1440 and programed trip. Unit is used so not sure if work correctly. The road map will be on screen then in a second or so the turns list comes on. Is this normal ? Shouldn't map stay ?

OK So No one can tell me if after you setup a trip, and goto the map screen it should stay there ? The one i have will goto turns list a few seconds after you have map screen up.

Fixed it, Stops when you get signal.
