Please help me navigate with this dinosaur of a GPS. I am trying to find my property lines. I was told could be done with a GPS. I have an old but loyal, Magellan Roadmate 1470. Can I use it? And how? Thank you.

You would need to store either single locations (Waypoints / Favourites), or a line of locations (a Track) with your GPS, if this is not possible, you may be able to note down locations displayed on your GPS e.g. :- Latitude: N39.1835 , Longitude: W120.9864. If you walk / drive / fly* around the perimeter of your property gathering GPS locations, you can then plot them on a map

    * Not sure how big an area we are talking about

Here is page 13 of the user manual :-
