Screen Protector for Go 52?

    Is it safe to use a screen protector with the TomTom Go 52?

    Specifically, is it safe to use a screen protector made for an LG-G3 smartphone? I have several extras in a pack that I never used for the phone, and they could be cut to fit the TomTom. But I need to make sure the GPS will still work with a screen protector, and also that the adhesive won't damage the GPS screen.
