Hi everyone!
I have a nuvi 250 purchased in Canada.
I would like to use the GPS in Europe and have downloaded a free map - and installed it in the garmin folder.
The unit reads the new map without any problems (gmapsupp.img).
I do have two issues though:
1) In the menu when I navigate to "where to go" and try to enter an address, the software insists that I enter a "state/province" in North America - there seem to be no way, I can enter an adress outside North America. What can I do?
2) When I manually zoom the map and point on a location in europe, no matter where I am or where I want to go, the gps says that there is no road where I am - and it therefore cannot do the route planning.
