I am considering buying a Garmin Drive 51 and I have a technical question. When the setting "Speed limit exceeded" is set, does the GPS plays a tone and turn the speed limit red only in navigation mode (i.e when you enter a destination address) or all the time when you are driving (no navigation needed)?

The tone and on-screen red indicator (see my profile avatar) is always active, not only in navigation mode, the speed limit info. for each road is built into Garmin maps and is changed as you enter each new speed zone
