TopCon GRS-1/ArcGIS compatibility

    Hello,

    I just started using a TopCon GRS-1 model to collect points. The software gives you the option of exporting your points as a shapefile so you can load them into ArcMap. This seemed to work fine untill I started editing the shapefile. As soon as I did this, 3 of my fields suddenly became corrupted; a text field reset all of its values to '0.000...000F' and the x,y field values reset to '00'. Has anyone else tried importing TopCon GPS data into ArcGIS? Are there any general compatibility problems I should be aware of?
