Hi. I have a track in Basecamp. It has 6200 track points, distance is 280 km. When I send it to the device, there will be only 489 track points and distance is 20 km less than in the original track in Basecamp. Why Etrex reduces waypoints and make track much less accurate? Is there any setting I missing? I'd like to have original track on my device.

There are a few possible reasons why the number of Track Points is being reduced :-
1) Basecamp is reducing the number of Track Points before it is sending the GPX file to your Etrex20x

2) Your Etrex20x is reducing the number of Track Points due to a lack of available memory on the unit
