Track titles Map78

This is a minor nuisance rather than a big prob. I gave my track a meaningful title and copied unto my GPS. It shows up there with some meaningless title like 'lines and triangles' or some such nonsense. Yet, when I connect to my computer and view the files on the GPS it still shows the proper title that I gave it. What gives, and how to fix?

I would guess that when you re-named the files your computer was using a more advanced set of alpha-numerical codes than your map78 can handle, in the old days there were 127 ASCII characters to choose from, modern computers can use Unicode which has over 700 characters
