I am planning to do vehicle tracking system project uisng GPS/GSM modules.

Please suggest what are parameters I have to consider while choosing the GSM & GPS modules & how to interface the these modules with uC. I am new to wire less technology,please suggest the links related to this project.

there are free alternatives. Try gpsgate.com they have free sdks and are compatible with pretty much all the major device players on the market. good luck
