Transfer GPS4000XL waypoints to computer

    I bought an old GPS4000XL for a backup in my ultralight plane's GPS2000XL. I manually loaded the waypoints into it but want to transfer those waypoints from it to my computer for easier reloading should I ever need to do that. What program was in use to do this back in the day? I did install Magellan Vantage Point but it doesn't support the GPS4000XL so am trying to find what program may have been used in it's day for waypoint transfers. Thanks...
