Updating older TomTom

Got a TomTom N14644 car GPS which I use in my van, and when I went to update it TomTom said it was too old to receive updated maps etc. Is it possible to manually obtain and install newer maps on older TomToms?

I think you may be able to through my drive if you connect to your computer.

Isn't TwoUpTourer asking for maps that are not supplied by Tomtom ? eg. A different source , Tomtom have already said that he / she can't get maps from them
