I've had the DriveSmart 55 for several years and like the device. At this point, however, I'd like to upgrade to a larger screen. I'm stuck between the 66 and 76.

Not sure if going up to the 66 will make much difference? It only picks up about 1/2" in diag screen size.

However the 76 resolution is only 1024 x 600 compared to the 1280 x 720 on the other models. Will that matter?

Can someone provide feedback on on these issues?

    Thanks...

I would say the 76's larger screen will be more beneficial and the reduced pixal density won't be that noticeable

I have both had both the drivesmart 55 & 65 in my Camry. The 65 is with Alexa and I like it's newer interface but it is large. The 55 is OK because of it's better pixel density but I miss the newer interface of the 65. I had thought of getting the 86 and turn it vertical. But the mounting looks larger than the mount of the 55 & 65 which are the same. That alone rules out the 86. I like that I can swap the 55 & 65 using the same mount. I plan on getting the 66 and think the size will be just right.

The 66 resolution is listed as 1280 x 720, where the 76 drops to 1024 x 600. Would that bug you?
I like the size of the 76 and don't want to jump to the 86 as, like you, I want to keep my existing mount.
