I am starting to ride a UTV, Honda Pioneer and frequently to not have phone service here in West Virginia, USA. I have been looking at a Garmin Oregon for hunting, hiking, as well as this application, but the screen is small to try to navigate while driving a UTV. So, I have been looking at getting a mini tablet and then using a bluetooth gps external device for better tracking. I have used OnX Hunt app on my phone and like it.

Just wanted to ask if anyone has any ideas/experience on the subject?

It depends how important the hunting app. is to you, a 7 inch sat nav will be more reliable than a table running an app., if you do go for a tablet, I would try it out using the built-in GPS before buying a seperate bluetooth unit, because a seperate GPS will make it even more unreliable
