    Hello All,

I went on a field visit to get coordinates of our proposed schools in various regions and I took these on Garmin 12 Channel & Summit GPS. I have taken the coordinates on my diary along with the elevation. I have also entered the WayPoints in my both GPSs manually and i have also taken the tracks and routes in these. Now I want to map these for following reason.

Since our schools are at different places and at difficult terrain then we want to implement our new project according to the distances between these schools. I have heard that we can find distances between two coordinates in MapInfo and ArcGis quite easily. Now I want to find the distances between two points on the way I travelled. How can I?

Can any buddy tell me how to import GPS data on my computers and use
    it with MapInfo 8.

    Best regards,
    Ghaffar
