Wrong elevations in Nuvey GPX

The Nuvey exports all its tracks in an GPX. So far so good, no problem. But ... the elevations in these are wrong. They are not corrected for the geoid, so in flat coastal areas in Western Europe they are typically about 40 m below sea level!
In my MS Access app (described in other thread) I apply a geoid model to correct for this.

Once I wrote a mail about this to Gôrmin. No answer.

Unfortunately the GPS's ability to determine elevation is nowhere near as good as the other two dimensions, here is a Garmin site explaining that elevation can be off by as much as 400 feet (120 Metres) with a unit like the Nuvi, more professional surveying units are much better, but still have a error twice that of Latitude / Lonitude:-

Thanks, as a geodesist I am aware of this. The GPX problem with elevations not corrected for geoid is structural, however.
