    Hi all,

I'm new to forum but not to life

I'm going camping with grandsons in colo this august.

While I'm experienced with car gps nav, I don't know squat about topo
(I'm versed on compass, but lazy)

I've got a vista cx and a vista hcx - My question is - can I just purchase a micro sd version of Garmin mapsource 2008 topo from the site named after the famous south American river?

Then copy the card /install them to both my vistas?

I searched, but didn't find definite answers for vistc "C" series

    I don't want to waste $80

    thanx, greg

    update yet another map question

ok, here's the update, when I said "search", I meant vista "c" on internet

I subsequently found numerous "free" maps, installed proper software, and am able to download more maps than I could use.

Was not the simplest process, but even tho' I'm lazy, I won't be deterred

    luck,greg
