I have bought the above for use on my 12 volt motorcycle but I have another bike which is 6 volt,
Will the device work at 6 volt, and will it cause any damage if I try it..

Also, I have tried to phone the Garmin help lines but the numbers given on screen don't work in GB.
    What is going on?

It looks like the input voltage to this device (via the USB connector), is 5V, any supplied power cable will be converting 240V mains to 5V DC or 12V DC to 5V DC. If it is possible to get a 6V DC to 5V DC USB cable that would work. Feeding 6V DC directly into the USB socket may work BUT there is a risk, so I wouldn't recommend it. Using a 12V DC to 5V DC USB cable with a 6V DC input will probably fail to work, because the internal circuitry needs more than a 1V DC difference from input to output in order to work properly, however I would say it would not damage the Zumo if you tried it
