zumo 595 internal storage

hello i have a zumo 595 and the internal storage is 7 GB
and there is only 817 MB left .
is that normal

I think that Garmin Basecamp tries to fill the internal memory first, so when you send a map to your GPS unit with a microSD fitted, the program will only use the microSD if the new map won't fit into the available internal memory

You can examine which area maps are installed on your satnav using Basecamp >> Maps >> Manage Map products :-

Also you can select where maps are installed using Basecamp >> Maps >> Install Maps
