    Hi Al.

I have a Nuvi 3590 LMT. It would keep showing that Power has been Lost, and shuts down.

I cleaned all of the connections as best I can. That didn't work.

I replaced the powered Mount. That didn't work.

    I replaced the GTM60 power/traffic cable. That didn't work.

So I believe it's either the connector on the 3590 itself, it some sort of internal problem with the unit.

I did try a complete reset as well to no avail.

Any other ideas or suggestions? Or do I need to replace the unit?

    Thanks.

As this unit could be as much as 12 years old it may have a faulty internal battery, when this battery fails it can prevent the unit operating even when the unit is powered by an external power supply

Thanks. I just replaced the battery, so that's not it.
