    Dear all,

    Our department has a GNSS (EPOCH 50) receiver. This receiver is a non-cross correlation receiver reporting C1 and P2. But, somehow, most of the GPS satellites' P2 code data is absent in each epoch (2 or 3 GPS satellites P2 code available in each epoch, apprx, but L1/L2 phase data are all available).

    I suspect this would be related old receiver firmware. Is there anyone can explain this situation?

    Regards,

    Definitely sounds like a receiver based issue. I would suspect firmware, as you have, or perhaps hardware limitations in certain channels. For example, it might have 12 channels for L1 tracking, but only 6 channels for L2?

    The issue was resolved after private communication with Trimble as follows;

    For satellite which broadcasting C2 data, receiver records only C2 data instead of both P2/C2. That's why I cannot see both P2/C2 data simultaneously for each satellite.
