I need a portable solution for our vans to track which routes drivers are taking or whether they are holing up somewhere. I want something that is cheapish but works well and doesn't need a subscription. I am not looking for real time mapping but more something I can retrieve from the vehicle and upload to a pc that will let me see on a map the exact route a driver has taken and how long he has been parked for.. any thing else is a bonus. Is there something anyone can recommend ?..I do have an old iPhone 3 that I was thinking of hiding in the van but don't think it'll do the job.
