Calculating Velocity Components Vx and Vy from GPS Speed and Vehicle Heading

Hello ,

I need to find the Vx and Vy based on the GPS Outputs : Vehicle Heading and Vehicle Speed... I thought it was a simple physics problem . But I am messing up somewhere... So, vehicle Heading is w.r.t True North and in range [0,360] and Speed is in meters/sec

I need to find with this information.... First I thought it would be simple , V*Cos(Heading) and V*sin(Heading)

But the angle should be w.r.t the horizintal component as i remember from my physics class... Here the angle is w.r.t north which changes as vehicle changes direction... How should I compensate for this
