I'm good with technology but not this technology. I used Google maps to get two GPS coordinates inside a city block. I want to calculate the approx distance between the two in feet, but an online calculator is choking on my newbie data. Any tips? The two coords are;

36° 3' 32.7744" N, 95° 47' 44.7000" W
36° 3' 32.7744" N, 95° 47' 48.3000" W

I try to guess, and see if anyone spots a mistake ...

Longitude
44.7000 W
48.3000 W

1 second = 61.6 feet / 739.2 inches /
4 seconds = 246.4 feet / 2,956.8 inches / 82 yards

The Website movable-type co uk/scripts/latlong.html calculates it to 89.89 Metres, 98.3049 Yards or 294.915 Feet

Nuvi-Nebie, thanks for the answer, and where did you get the satellite image?? The one I retrieved from Google Maps was not that good.

The satellite image was from the same website as the calculations, after the calculations there is a line that says "And you can see it on a map (aren’t those Google guys wonderful!)"

I placed another line under the picture which appears to have got lost, it read ' An Arc Second will vary in distance depending where in the earth you are', so for a different part of the earth your 246.4 feet may be correct
