difficulty recording waymarks

I have a Garmin etrex 10 and find it very slow to record warmarks. It often freezes and will not react at all. Today it has failed to record waymarks, even though it appeared to do so when I pressed enter.

I would perform a Master Reset on your unit, please note that this will erase all stored data such as Tracks, Route and Waypoints so you must backup all data that you want to keep, then :-

To perform a master reset:

1. Ensure the device is off
2. Press and hold Menu and Enter*
3. Press and release Light/Power
4. Wait to see, Do you really want to erase all user data?
5. Release Menu and Enter
6. Select Yes

*Press the center of the Thumb Stick.
