DriveSmart Deleting Older Map Files from Device?

So I am not new to Garmin DriveSmart or Nuvi. Currently under myMaps I show the CN maps plus a National Park V2 map. BUT that map has no data so wish to delete it from the GPS. In the MAPS foulder I see 4 GMA files with 4 UNL files also. Only 1 IMG file---the large City map. Can I just delete the other unl and gma files with older dates? Does this remove the MAP listed under myMaps?

The other unl and gma files are only 1kb or 3 kb....
The map does not show up under basecamp.....
The same National Park V2 "map" shows up two different DirveSmart GPS.

BTW, I tried deleting this it did not delete the map listing.
Also, there is NO SD card in the GPS at this time.

Thr safest way to delete individual maps is to install Garmin Basecamp on a computer and use the map install option to view all maps and select the one you want to delete, if the map you want to delete is not visible in Basecamp my guess is that myMaps is falsely reporting this, I would try a factory reset on your unit, don't forget to backup all Routes, Waypoints etc. before doing the reset
