Have favorites I want to transfer but also a lot of junk I want to clean out. What's the best way to move these to a PC so I can delete the unwanted ones and them move the remaining ones to the new GPS? I have done some searching but many of the posts are very old so thinking there may be newer. better ways.
edit and transfer favorites from Nuvi 1450 to Nuvi 2589

Editing and deleting of Favourites (points Of Interest / Waypoints), Tracks and Routes can be performed by loading them into Garmin Basecamp, the remaining items can then be sent from Basecamp to the new unit
