Ephemeris data sp3 file extension

    Hi,

    I am trying to open and read the ephemeris data for a GPS simulation that I am building in Matlab. it is a .sp3.Z file extension that Notepad can not open.
    How can I obtain the data? I do not even know what is inside this file.

    Any suggestion?

    I make my own suggestion. uncompress Z!
