I recently bought a Garmin 22x and don't understand what maps came with the unit. I am considering buying the Southwest Topo maps SD card. We spend time in the foothills in Arizona and don't want to get lost. Do the maps include satellite imagery?
I also am wondering if a need to download software for my computer to connect the unit.
    Thanks for the help!

The Etrex 22x is supplied with Topo maps and can also download satellite imagery from Garmin, this service is called Birdseye and although it is a subscription service, there is usually a free trial period (1 year?) where these downloads are free, take a look at Garmin's webpage for the 22x here :-

You can examine what maps are on your 22x by using the free to download Garmin Basecamp computer program
