    Good day.

The altimeter display on my Garmin overland shows the whole trip recored over a distance of ~5000 km, and as a result shows a total climb and decent in the order of 80 000 meters.

Does anyone know how to reset the history ov the altimeter so that it will show a shorter period of time?

I will appreciate any ideas as this is a bit frustrating.

I guess you would have to reset the trip counter in order to reset the elevation plot, with something like:- Trip Computer >> Menu >> Reset >> Clear Track and Trip Data
