I'm using Garmin nRoute and a Model18x to use a laptop as a GPS. It was working a while ago, but now whenever I plug the USP cable in, the detail level goes to "Lowest", even though the setting in nRoute is set at "Highest". If I unplug the GPS, the detail re-appears. The issue seems to be in the actual GPS unit itself, since I have a back-up Model 18, and it doesn't do this.
