GPS Map64s waypoints and compass issue

    Hi, looking for some help if possible. I have a GPS Map64s that I use for geocaching. After I manually input coordinates as a waypoint, I can't navigate to it using the compass. The waypoint saves correctly and it shows up on the map screen once I click on it. But if I 'page' over to the compass feature, it tries to navigate me to the nearest saved geocache instead of the created waypoint. Any help/ideas would be appreciated! Thanks.

    Here are the steps I would follow :-
    1. Turn on 64s and ensure it has a satellite fix
    2. Press FIND - If 'Currently Navigating' is displayed enter 'Stop Navigating'
    3. Press FIND >> Waypoints >> [select your new Waypoint]
    4. Select GO
    5. PAGE to Compass
    6. If you don't get a straight line displayed to your waypoint then go to 8
    7. Follow straight line to waypoint then goto 11
    8. Press FIND >> Change Activity >> Direct Routing
    9. PAGE to Compass
    10. Follow straight line to waypoint
    11. You have reached your destination
    12. Press FIND >> Stop Navigating
