So I have a garmin 67 gps and and I'm down to only 70 MB of internal storage left. I'm from northwest BC and the when I first purchased the gps one of the first things I had to do was purchase better maps for it due to the fact that the maps the that come with it from garmin are not nearly adequate enough. they dont show roads or anything and the turn by turn routing wouldn't even work. Garmin support told me that this area is remote enough that the maps dont cover it in detail. So I bought a BackRoadsMap microSD with the 2023 version of backroads maps, stuck it in and had detailed maps for all of BC. Everything worked great till as I already mentioned my internal storage filled up and I got to the place where the thing to do would be to stick a sd card in for extra storage and keep going. But I already have a micro sd in it so now I have a problem. I could swap the sd with maps on for an empty one for storage but a gps without maps doesn't do me much good. But a gps with no more storage doesn't do me much good either. The backroadsmaps data only takes about 5 gigs of storage so I tried copying that onto a 32 gig sd but they have things in place that makes that data noncopyable. Anybody else have this problem? Any solutions?
